Approach

Preparing for a New World

The world is becoming increasingly complex and dynamic. New technologies, cultural diversity, and global connectivity are posing ever-greater challenges to the education system. As a young mentor, I understand the demands today's society places on young people.

With a broad understanding of both the digital and analogue world and its history, I can prepare your child as well as possible for an uncertain future.

A Lifelong Companion

Imagine having had a mentor by your side since childhood, guiding you through every phase of life. Someone you can always turn to when facing difficult questions — a mentor who doesn't hand you ready-made answers, but believes you have the capacity to find them within yourself.

I deliberately avoid paternalism and rely on collaboration, individual support, and an always open ear — for each of my students, for a lifetime.

The Method

Depending on your child's age and level of knowledge, I begin at an appropriate point to promote holistic education:

Promoting Mental Flexibility
  1. Age-appropriate introduction to philosophical theories
  2. Understanding conventions and their historical context
  3. Building worldviews and facilitating change
  4. Psychological principles: cognitive biases, perspective model, communication psychology, conflict management
Protection Against Misguidance
  1. Living with human realities (knowing one's needs, recognising emotional impulses)
  2. Understanding others: motivation, aspirations, influence of religion and socialisation
  3. Recognising and questioning one's own radical tendencies early
Preserving Innate Curiosity
  1. The relevance of history for today
  2. Historical foundations of modern technology
  3. Political contexts in Germany and the world
  4. The interplay of economics and politics
Developing a Benevolent Character
  1. Collective values (categorical imperative, societal structure)
  2. Eudaimonia and ambition
  3. Different approaches from different cultures
Living a Good Life
  1. Stoicism and Hedonism in modern times
  2. Happiness and appreciation of the moment
  3. Life goals and plans
  4. Physical and mental health

To convey knowledge effectively, I primarily use cooperative methods — walks, museum visits, and other forms of engaging with great themes are all part of the experience.
